1998 Archives

This page documents any revamping, modification, changes or additions I've made to my web page between my site's inception (in Nov 1997, before I kept records of my modifications,) and the close of 1998. More recent changes are found on the most current Recent Changes page.

  • (12/24/1998) I finally created the Capital Punishment page. It still needs a lot of work, but the unrevised, unfootnoted paper is there.

  • (12/20/1998) Added a Linux Information page to the Linux/UNIX Tutorial. The linux section now includes links to Linux & UNIX sites, some mine, and will eventually also provide more information on why Linux is cool, why "Free OS" doesn't mean "Bad OS," why "Open Source Software" doesn't mean "Open Security Risk," and why "Popular OS" doesn't mean the "Best OS."

  • (11/17/1998) My Linux server, Reese, had to be taken down per BMC's request; she had been a multi-user system from May to mid-November, 1998. I still use Reese, but only as a personal Linux workstation. The original Reese pages are still accessible via a link "at Home;" they are currently hosted on my account on Lucien in Illinois.

  • The background image/image map on the index page is new as of mid-September, 1998; replacing my first imagemap design. It was updated again Nov. 2nd, 1998.

  • Anneke's World has been in existence since November 26th, 1997. This Recent Additions page was begun approximately 10 months later.
