Bryn Mawr College

[ Major & Minor Courses | Course Transcript | Coursework ]

I'm a graduate of Bryn Mawr College, having received my B.A. in German in the Spring of 1999, with a minor in the Growth & Structure of Cities.

I really enjoyed all of my classes, especially the Shakespeare and Fin-de-siecle (turn of the century) Vienna courses. And who would have thought learning about architects (Adolf Loos!) and urban planning could be so interesting? It's almost frightening... academia actually began to interest me again-- just as i was leaving.

The advantage to being out is that I no longer have to do homework. The advantage to being *in* was the opportunity to be exposed to new things, discovering new interests. Now that I am no longer in school, I have the time to study what I want, but difficulty finding the willpower to do so.

Since I'm quite enamored with almost everything related to computers (there's more of an explanation about that on the bit about me page), I've since entered the computer/high tech field on graduating. Who knows which aspect of my four passions (computers, architecture, singing and German) I'll fall into next!
