The Law Review
|
by Dawn Sullivan
|
Filled with deception, competition, sex and murder, S. Scott
Gaille's first novel is an enjoyable read. This novel will entertain
readers while giving them a glimpse into the competitive atmosphere that
drives law students. It provides a humorous look at just how obsessed a
law student can become in striving to possess the woman he loves while
trying to secure a seat for himself on Law Review.
The Law Review focuses on Grayson Bullock, a first year law
student at the University of Chicago Law, who never seems to have a dull
moment in his life. Gaille conveys an interesting statement about morality
in the shocking ending.
This novel is a quick read and is filled with satirical digs at
the obsessive behavior of students at a top law school.
