HISTORY

Our '96-'97 year we welcomed seven new members to the group, hosted the Semi-Finals of the National Championship of College A Cappella, have been called "delightful" in a Barnes and Noble Calendar of events, and completed the recording of a CD, Shocker. We skipped our annual Spring Break tour in favor of weekend jaunts to nearby colleges and the production of Shocker.

In '97-'98 we started the year with about five members and added quite a few new faces over the next two semesters, bringing the total number to fifteen, and creating a wonderfully tight group, both with our new sound and with how fabulously we all work together. We held a concert in March '98 at Haverford College with the Haverford Humtones and Swarthmore College's "16 Feet," as well as a concert for prospective students (Bryn mawr class of '02!!) in April '98 with the Haverford S-Chords. We had also taken a weekend roadtrip to Pittsburgh earlier in the year.

Our '98-'99 year began with a great customs concert, with one alum (Adrianne "Age" Giammetteo) in attendance and a strong 12-member group. We're looking to add some new members this semester: It's time for auditions!

If you and your a cappella group are interested in hosting us at your college or performing with us here at Bryn Mawr, please contact our pitch, Anneke Hackman.
