We would like to welcome Sarah Klaum '01 as our new Extreme Key of the Spring 1999 semester!!

The Extreme Keys are a diverse group of women with a common interest: singing a cappella. In an effort to give you a better idea of what we're all about, we've asked each member to write a short biography for inclusion here. We apologize for the incomplete status of this page.

Anneke Hackman, Pitch (Musical Director)/Business Manager/Treasurer/Webmistress, Class of 1999. Anneke hails from Great Falls, VA (part of D.C. suburbia), but has also lived in New York, North Carolina, Germany, and Connecticut. A member of the 'Keys since second semester her freshman year, Anneke is a German Studies major, with a minor in Growth and Structure of Cities. She also has a definitely-not-quite-healthy obsession with computers. During bouts of procrastination she plays with her web page, the Extreme Keys' web page, her Linux box, Reese, and still manages to finds time to draw on the occasional baby's head with permanent red marker. (Please. Don't ask.)
None at present. Lucy Pashaia, Class of 1999.
None at present. Kim Overtree, Class of 1999.
Amanda Greenspon, Class of 2000. She is a Political Science major and Math minor here at the Mawr. Other than being a 'Key, Amanda plays lacrosse, is a member of SGA, and has waged a single-handed war to rid the world (or at least her dorm) of cockroaches. And now that she is a junior, Amanda has lost the ability to be creative and funny. So this is the end of her bio.

Dawn Moehn and Amanda Greenspon (left to right)
Dawn Moehn, Class of 2000.Business Manager & Co-Treasurer (Sem I, '98-'99). Dawn (the blond one) has been a 'Key since Fall '97. She is an Economics major and at one time thought about being a Math minor, but then realized she would rather have a life. She's from Carroll, IA (no, she doesn't live on a farm, and yes, there ARE things to do there) and is spending second semester away from the 'Keys (sniff) in the glorious city of London!! :)
None at present. Sarah Klaum, Class of 2000.
Gretchen Holthausen, Class of 2000. Currently taking a leave of absence from the group during her junior year to be a *fabulous* Traditions-Mistress.
None at present. Molly Kleinmann, Class of 2001.
None at present.Erin Hains, Class 2001. Erin hails from St. George, UT. She is a sophomore this year and is currently considering subjecting herself to the trauma of a Russian/Political Science double major with a concentration in Peace & Conflict Studies. She is open to suggestions though. In her free time she enjoys pretending she is a musical theatre major, trying to convince people to visit her in Utah, and talking eccstatically about Russia, music, chocolate, her enormous family, and the fact that her room is smaller than the closet she had this summer. Erin loves being a 'Key.
None at present. Marta Backman, Class of 2001. Marta is currently in her second year at Bryn Mawr planning to major in psychology and minor in music. She not only enjoys rocking out with the Keys, but also being a member of the Chamber Singers and directing and performing in Musical Review (which she co-founded with a friend last semester). In her "spare" time (ha) she likes to sleep, watch movies...oh sleep some more, and avoid work at all costs.
None at present. Anna Molpus, Class of 2001.
Emily McNeil, Class of 2001. Emily is a happy sophomore who hails from Federalsburg (Bumfuck), Maryland. She is a psychology major with a dance minor-- yeah! She loves being a Mawrtyr and being a part of the Extreme Keys is the highlight of her Bryn Mawr experience so far (excluding her beloved boyfriend, Joe, but he is from Haverford!) These beautiful ladies are truly a part of her family, her heart.
Emily is affectionately known as "Tude" to the 'Keys because she has a megadose of attitude which comes out in her quietest moments. A talented dancer and singing goddess, she adds life, beauty, and light to the 'Keys, according to Kim "Paula Cole" Overtree.
Amber Carmo, Class of 2001. Amber is a native of Harrisburg, PA and has been a member of the 'Keys since the beginning of her freshman year. She is a proud member of the class of the 21st century. She is insanely going to double major in both archeology and biology because she can't make up her mind so she wants to do everything.
None at present. Carla Mavrodin, Class of 2001. A Linguistics major/French minor (this week), Carla is tri-lingual and fascinated with language acquisition. In her free time (soon to be an archane term while at Bryn Mawr), she writes, rides horses, and listens to music. Aside from the 'Keys, Carla works at Wyndham and is in Chorale, Lit Mag, and the Bi-Co News. Carla is extremely excited to be a new 'Key! (Carla is taking the semester off.)
