  Worked on Seton Hall Law School's web site part-time (9 hours per week), coding HTML and updating site pages from the outdated theme to the current design.

Web Producer, Breakaway Solutions, Inc July 2000 - August 2001
  Hand-coded the front-end of web sites using HTML, CSS, XML, XSL, with occasional use of JavaScript and ASP page maintenance. Worked with wireframes and graphic designs to convert concepts into functional, cross-browser and cross-platform compatible sites, as well as optimizing images and minimizing graphic usage. Worked on the launch of two live sites utilizing dynamic XML/XSL pages, one for a large pharmaceutical company, and the other a B2B exchange co-created by two of the largest electric lighting conglomerates in the world. Operated as a multi-user server until November 1998, providing e-mail, web space, ftp and telnet access. Created accounts, answered user queries, provided HTML and Linux/UNIX troubleshooting, and utilized syslogs, TCP wrappers, and software upgrades to increase security. Reformatted and repartitioned hard drives; installed and removed hardware; configured software; reinstalled or upgraded portions of the OS; rebuilt the kernel; edited key system files; installed and/or configured Apache, Netscape, GIMP, and XWindows.

Administered Bartik, the student web server, on a volunteer basis, with the occasional aid of the college's UNIX System Administrator. Authored current server policy and created the web site and account application form. Maintained the web site, created and removed accounts, performed system and user account troubleshooting, and periodically increased system security via software installation, upgrades, TCP wrappers, and the creation and modification of minor Perl scripts. Bartik operates on Solaris 2.5.1.
